Is alloy wheel refurbishment cheaper than buying new wheels?

Yes. In most cases, refurbishing damaged alloy wheels is significantly cheaper than replacing them. This is especially true for OEM, diamond-cut or discontinued designs where new wheels can be very expensive. Our SMART repair process restores the cosmetic finish and can often save you hundreds of pounds compared with new wheels.

Are there any types of alloy wheel damage you can’t repair in the van?

Yes. Some wheel issues are too severe or unsafe to repair with a mobile service. We don’t repair: Buckled or badly dented wheels Cracked or split rims Wheels that are leaking air due to structural damage Severely corroded wheels Certain split-rim wheels In these cases you may need a specialist wheel straightening or replacement wheel.

What types of alloy wheel damage can you repair?

Our technicians repair most cosmetic damage to alloy wheels, including: Kerbed and scuffed alloys Scratched alloy wheels Discoloured and slightly corroded alloys Diamond cut and standard painted wheels Colour change and refinishing back to a factory-style finish If you’re unsure whether your wheels can be repaired, send us a photo when you request a quote.
