Q. What does Cosmetic Repair Insurance cover exactly?
A. We cover, scratches, scuffs, chips and dents that are less than 30cm in diameter.
Q. Are there any vehicles you do not cover?
A. The vehicle must be less than 5 years old and covered less than 50,000 miles we will cover it. So that means we can cover vehicles that our competitors exclude such as Ferrari, Porsche, Bentley, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, McLaren, Maserati and Rolls Royce. However, please be aware that we can’t cover vehicles that are used for hire & reward or owned/operated by person/business in the motor trade, over 5 tonnes in gross weight, motorcycles, trailers.
Q. What happens when I make a claim
A. You must report the damage to us as soon as possible, no more than 14 days after the incident. We will ask some questions about how and when the damage occurred and ask you to send some pictures of the damage to us. We will then book the repair in with one of our agents who will contact you to arrange a convenient time and place. Before the repair takes place we will contact you to take £10 excess payment.
Q. How long does it take to repair and do I have to pay anything?
A. As we handle all claims, once you have reported the damage and emailed pictures to us we will authorise the repair at your convenience. There is a £10 excess applicable to each claim that we will collect, we pay the repairs direct so there is nothing for you to pay out and claim back.
