Project Description

This Alloy wheel is what we would describe as a Split Rim. It has little bolts that go around the outside that can be loosened and in doing so we can separate the outer rim from the spokes of the alloy. The outer edge of this alloy is diamond cut, so it has a machined finish. The inner piece where the spokes are is painted.

What We Repaired

This repair was able to be kept local so we did not have to split the rim. We just had to re-cut the outer edge of the rim.

How We Repaired It

The outer edge was re-cut to keep the desired diamond cut effect of the rim.

Time Taken

Diamond Cut alloys take anything from 30 minutes to an hour to repair.
